Our mission
We built StockStorm.ai because we felt traditional stock market websites overwhelm users with massive data tables and boring 2D charts.
It was almost like they were designed for spreadsheet jockeys instead of regular investors!
We felt we could do better by making stock market data visually appealing and easy to understand for everyday investors.
So we started from scratch and designed a revolutionary new stock market site based on our 20+ years of data visualization experience. Our main design objectives were to:
- Make stock market data visually appealing— We utilized the latest 3D charting, virtual reality, and gaming engines to build an interactive data visualization platform that is both visually appealing and fun to use. Instead of displaying massive amounts of data, we focused on building curated charts that focus on what is important for investors. The result is 4D charts (3D + time series animation) which illustrate the day's activity. Stock bars glow to illuminate stocks with unusual activity. Fireworks burst into the sky when your watchlist stocks have big gains. StockStorm.ai makes stock investing accessible to the average investor and makes it fun rather than a chore.
- Empower users to deep dive into the data— We made the 4D charts interactive so users can peel back the layers and uncover their own insights. Clicking on a stock bar pulls up that stock's news and financial data into the side panels. The Compare feature allows users to chart up to 15 stocks against each other on 4 dimensions.
- Enable personalization of dashboards— We allow users to create custom watchlists to get personalized stock updates and news feeds. Dashboard reports can be customized to user preferences and the layout of the 3D workspace can be completely customized.
- Make investors smarter— Our philosophy is to utilize AI to make investors smarter so they can make their own decisions. For example, we use AI to scan thousands of news articles daily to quantify news trends and summarize the financial news. This data is fed into 3D news charts so users can see at a glance which breaking news stories affect their portfolio.

StockStorm.ai is a data visualization platform for stock market investors. It covers all US stock markets and offers real-time and 15-minute delayed quotes. The main advantage of StockStorm.ai is that it utilizes interactive 4D charts (3D + time series animations) to bring stock market data to life. It also combines financial news and financial statement information on the same screen, allowing users to explore the stock market across multiple dimensions. Its unique 3D dashboard design allows users to drag-and-drop windows in a virtual workspace and is the first stock market app with a VR/AR optimized design.
Who is this site for?
StockStorm.ai is built for investors of all experience levels. We intentionally designed our charts and tables to be
intuitive and easy to interpret for beginning stock market investors. However, underneath the attractive visuals are deep
analysis tools and the ability to drill down to detailed financial statement data and advanced ratios. Most users will be
content with our free tier which offers 15-minute delayed quotes from all US stock exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, AMEX, OTC, CBOE,
and PNK). Advanced investors who want access to real-time quotes, multiple watchlists, and advanced analytic features can
subscribe to our paid tier (coming soon).

StockStorm.ai is an interactive stock market data visualization platform. It is the first stock market app to utilize 4D
visualizations (3D charts + time series animation) to bring financial data to life. It is also the first stock market
app designed with a dedicated VR/AR mode for Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro users. Some of the charts and visualizations

- 3D News Chart: We scan thousands of news articles each day from over 7,500 news sources to bring you the latest financial news. Our AI algorithms synthesize these articles to create a 3D news chart that quantifies the top trending stories and summarizes what you need to know. The 3D news chart allows you to dig deeper into top news stories to quantify sentiment, identify linked stocks, and see the impact on stock prices.
- Market Map: Our market map report breaks S&P 500 stocks down by industry sector then sorts them by market cap. It shows at a glance which are the biggest stocks in each sector and the % price change for each stock. Clicking on a stock allows you to see that stock symbol's news and stock chart on a single screen. Check out our exclusive 3D market map which allows you to rotate the chart, zoom in, and explore the market map in more detail.
- Top Dollar Volume: This 3D chart shows how top dollar volume stocks (volume of shares × price) are performing (% price change). This allows users to see what the heaviest traded stocks are doing on a given time period.
- Gainers: This 3D chart shows the top gaining stocks (% price gain) broken out by industry sector.
- Losers: This 3D chart shows the top losing stocks (% price loss) broken out by industry sector.
- Volume: This 3D chart shows the top volume stocks (# of shares traded) and their % price change broken out by industry sector.
- Dividend: This 3D chart shows the top dividend stocks (% dividend yield) broken out by industry sector.
- Short Interest: This 3D chart shows the top shorted stocks (% short interest) broken out by industry sector.
- Watchlist: Create your own custom watchlist to track stocks that you are interested in. Our CSV import feature allows you to import your stock portfolio directly from your brokerage statements. Once you create a watchlist, you can track how your portfolio is performing in our 3D Watchlist chart and get filtered news articles for your stocks.
- Individual stock charts: See trended stock charts for individual stock tickers (1D, 5D, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y time periods)
- Performance ratios: Get detailed financial performance and valuation ratios for each stock (including PE ratios, beta, price to sales, short interest, dividend yields, and returns)
- Financials: See annual and quarterly financial statement data for each stock (income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet)
- Compare: Chart up to 15 stocks against each other on 3D charts. Look at metrics such as Price, Performance, PE ratio, beta, dividend yields, market cap, and more.
